My friends are the best! I had a great visit with Celena and Paul this past weekend. Brian, Gwyn, Keegan, Tess and I are going to see our good friends, Ken and Karin, tomorrow in Kentucky. And my good friends made me feel better after feeling sorry for myself in my last post.

As I mentioned above, we are leaving tomorrow for Kentucky and coming back on Monday evening. I’m not looking forward to the drive; however, I am looking forward to watching Keegan and Tess reunite with one of their best friends, Leila. I’m also looking forward to seeing a pregnant Karin. It will remind me so much of where I was this point last year as she is due with their baby boy almost exactly 1 year after I was.
Also, this is a shout out to my good friend, Laura, who recently started competing in sheepdog trials with her good dog, Nick, and they were overall Pro-Novice Champion for a trial this past weekend. Nick’s mom, Twist, and her handler, my good friend, Julie, were overall Open Champions. My other good friend, Mary, got out there with her dogs and made me proud as well! I just wish I could be out there routing them on , but duties call at home and work…oh and you have to have a dog that either isn’t afraid of the sheep and/or pressure or isn’t too much of a hard head to work the sheep nicely. Ah, maybe one day Gwyn and I will be out there together with our dogs…yep, Brian…that is right…if Gwyn gets a dog, then I get one too!
